Original Makita protector extension assembly — part no. 135753-3. Molded from a high‑impact technopolymer, this lower protection / trimmer‑head guard mounts to the tool’s lower housing to shield the operator and redirect stones, grass clippings and other debris away from the cutting area. It fits to the trimmer head mounting points using M5 fasteners and is the same protector / guard listed in Makita parts diagrams and accessory lists for their petrol brushcutters and line trimmers.
