This is the original Metabo fan cover designed to protect and channel the motor cooling fan on the BAS series machines; it replaces the factory cover and fits into the same mounting points so installation is a straightforward swap.
Fits Metabo BAS 317 Precision series (multiple type variants such as 0090317000 / 0090317010 / 0090317100) and is also listed for BAS 316 G —Cross reference with the version number from off the side of the bandsaw to confirm fit.
What you get: the genuine Metabo fan cover (part no. 1382705951) finished to the original factory specification and shaped to match the motor housing, restoring the fan shielding and airflow path so the motor runs cooler and debris is kept away from the fan.
