Genuine Makita Protector Complete — part no. 144342-3. A transparent protector / guide assembly designed to fit the front of Makita grass-shear and hedge-trimmer heads; it acts as the blade guard and corner guide for clean edge trimming. This original Makita part is specified for 160 mm cutting-width shears and appears as the complete protector assembly in the parts lists for models such as UM600D, UM603D, DUM604 and UH201D.
