Hitachi 337562 — Front cap (original Hitachi)
Replace a damaged nose-piece with this original Hitachi front cap, part no. 337562. It’s the factory front cover that secures the cylinder / bit-lock area and holds the retainer / damper assembly in place on Hitachi rotary hammers — the same cap called out on Hitachi parts diagrams.
Fits Hitachi / Hikoki rotary-hammer models including DH40MEY, DH45ME / DH45MEY and the DH52ME / DH52MEY (listed as the correct front cap for these models).
Notes for repair:
- Supplied as the single front-cap unit (part 337562) to replace a worn/cracked nose cover and restore correct retention of the bit-lock, retainers and front damper components.
- Fits directly to the factory cylinder/case assembly and works with the tool’s original retainer / damper and O‑ring components shown in the diagrams.
