Genuine Hitachi 990945 — Oil Cap Assembly
Keep your Hitachi demolition hammer sealed and leak-free with the original Hitachi 990945 oil-cap assembly. This cap closes the oil / grease fill on the tool’s rear housing and is supplied as the complete cap assembly (it includes the matching O‑ring, part 980717).

Fits Hitachi / Hikoki H65-series breakers (H65SB, H65SB2, H65SB3, H65SD2 ) and the H90-series breakers (H90SB, H90SC, H90SE, H90SG) as listed in parts diagrams. Use this part when your oil-fill cap is damaged, missing, or no longer sealing properly.
What’s included and a useful detail
The assembly includes the O‑ring (Hitachi 980717 — O‑ring S‑38). The S‑38 O‑ring corresponds to approximately 37.5 mm inner diameter with a ~2.0 mm cross‑section, so the kit gives you the correct sealing size for the filler port.
Other notes
This Hitachi part is the factory-listed oil cap assembly (990945). If your breaker’s oil-fill cap is missing its rubber seal or the cap won’t stay seated, replacing it with the genuine Hitachi 990945 restores the correct sealing and fit.
